LWR Quilting

There are people in need all over the world, and Lutheran World Relief is committed to helping them.  Our congregation supports their effort by donating Mission Quilts, which they distribute to people in need all over the world. (This past year, we made 44 quilts which went to LWR!)

How does the Mission Quilt program work?

This video shows how volunteers at other churches make quilts, and how LWR get them to those in need.  Then, below the video, you can see photos of our own quilting group and volunteers from our congregation in action supporting this project!

Quilting Group

Every other Tuesday at 9 AM, our church's quilting group meets at the church to make Mission Quilts for Lutheran World Relief.  We hope you can join us to help make quilts for those in need!

Keychain Fundraiser

Keychains are available on the welcome table at the church for a suggested donation of $1 that read “God’s work. Our hands.” across the front. The keychains were 3D printed by Jacob Schandel, and are available in red, blue, green, and gold. Proceeds from these keychains will be used to purchase supplies for the creation and shipping of LWR Mission Quilts, which go to countries in need around the world.  Below are pictures of the keychains available.
