Come Worship With Us

Worship is a means of grace.

Whether you feel like celebrating the beauty of God’s work or you feel as if you need to take time to reflect and find strength, worship is the perfect place for this.  Each week, we hold a Sunday worship service at 9:30 AM.  In addition, we come together on special occasions to celebrate Jesus. The Shepherd of the Valley worship environment offers a blended-format worship service based on both traditional and contemporary worship formats in our church’s ADA-compliant, handicap-accessible building. We would like to welcome everyone to join us for worship Sundays at 9:30 AM!

As we observe in-person worship in this time of uncertainty, as brothers and sisters in Christ, it is our duty to protect one another.

In that spirit, our church will be observing social distancing measures, wearing masks, and implementing other health and safety measures.  To read more about these, please click here.

Former Bishop Abraham Allende of the Northeastern Ohio Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America reminds us that to worship is a means of grace, not an obligation.  If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or you feel unsafe coming to a public gathering even with safety measures in place, we ask that you hold off coming to in-person worship until you feel better or safer, but rather we invite you to join us on our church’s weekly podcast, the Shepherdcast.  You can listen to it below or wherever you get your podcasts.

Buy Altar Flowers

Altar flower envelopes are available for you to take on the Information Table at the church. Arrangements are priced at $25 as usual, and we will purchase flowers through Lilyfield Lane in Canton South. Please remember to return your vase back to the church after you are done with your arrangement.

Worship Assistants

Worship assistants are listed in the monthly newsletter for our church, Cross Talk. If you are someone that has volunteered to be a worship assistant and cannot serve the weekend you are listed for, please contact us as soon as possible so we can arrange for someone to fill in!

Note: in the event of a cancellation of an in-person worship service at our church, stay tuned to News 5 Cleveland and FOX 8 News for a cancellation notification on their sites or on-air, watch your inbox if you subscribe to our church’s Office Update e-mail newsletter, or watch for a post on Facebook, Twitter, or the #announcements channel on our Discord Server.
